Abhishek Bachchan left speechless after dad Amitabh Bachchan’s tribute honouring 26/11 martyrs

On the eleventh year of the ghastly terror attacks that shook Mumbai on November 26, 2008, Mumbaikars, Bollywood celebrities and prominent members collectively remembered the martyrs and offer condolences to their families. The day was marked with a solemn ceremony to honour the Bravehearts who lost their lives and also the pay tribute to the victims of the attacks.

At the event, Amitabh Bachchan hit the stage to put up a moving performance. Abhishek Bachchan, who was in the audience with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda, seemed to have been left speechless by the tribute that he took to social media to share a picture of his dear father saluting the martyrs.
Many celebs took to their social media to remember and salute the martyrs and who lost their lives in the attack that took place at Oberoi Trident, Cama Hospital, Nariman House, Hotel Taj Palace & Tower, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Early in the day, Amitabh shared a poem tweeted by a fan, written by his father the Late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. A few lines of the poem read, "For these inhuman, wrongful, erroneous, horrendous criminal deeds, who took the responsibility?... May these bloodstains remain imprinted on the door of the poet so that they reflect and recite immortality, the pain and anguish of deeds.”
