A 23-year-old man from Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, was raped by two men last March. They were arrested on a complaint filed by the woman. More than one of them has fled, and another has been released from jail on the 30th of July.
A case is being heard at the Rabareli Court. When the woman went to court this morning, a gang of five abducted her and poured gasoline on her after she went to an unmanned area.
The woman then called 112 and asked for help, taking her position. He also ran about 1 kilometer to help with the fire. When the police went to the scene, the woman was rescued with about 90% burns. The woman was subsequently hospitalized for treatment.
